Remember the Milk on your desktop

Remember the Milk logoI’m a  big fan of RememberTheMilk to keep my to-do lists organised. It’s intuitive, easy to use and takes no time at all to setup. I also use the iPhone app (which is free if you have a pro account). This has the advantage of being location aware, so if you use the Getting Things Done methodolgy, it can let you know what you could be working on where you currently are (say Home or Work).

Now there is an Adobe Air desktop application available as well. In their words…

The app allows you to manage your tasks in a stand-alone window, and works both online and offline (changes made when offline will be synchronized with RTM when you’re back online)

More details and download link on the RTM Blog, which is nice.

You might consider comparing App for the Milk to Cheqlist, new desktop app for RTM in JavaFX. http://eriwen.com/tools/cheqlist-remember-the-mil...

I'd be most interested in hearing what you think :)

I'm using Launchy as my equivalent of Quicksilver on the PC and have a plugin to add to RTM. To be honest I use the iphone app, website and email more than this, but its nice to have it as a quick command line popup.

Mark have you seen Enso for PC? (http://www.humanized.com/) Another Quicksilver 'super launcher' from Aza (son of Jef) Raskin. Looks pretty sweet.

That looks really sweet – like ubiquity, but breaking out of the browser which was always the biggest drawback.
